As the People’s Warden at St David’s, I’d firstly like to join with you all in welcoming and thanking Kathy Bowman, our Interim Priest during Cam’s period of leave. We all know and love her well already, both as a member of our congregation, and regular worship leader, so we are incredibly fortunate that she will be taking care of us in the coming days!
I’d also like to make myself available to all of you for any concerns or comments that you might have, by sharing my contact information here.
I’ll be happy to hear from you all and do my best to serve you in my role at St David’s.
I’m responsible for making sure that Sunday worship has everything it needs. The Altar Guild do a fantastic job for their part, and I am putting together a visual guide to who is taking care of the different tasks each Sunday. I will put the guide up on the bulletin board in the Narthex where we can all check it each Sunday. You’ll be able to make changes or notes to let me know when you will be away on holiday or unable to come to the service.
It’s lovely when we all get a chance to do different tasks during worship, and if you’ve never read the lessons, led Prayers of the People or been Acolyte, please think about giving it a go!
